1. Data controller

The data controller is ZdeKup s.r.o., Company ID 14224062, VAT ID CZ14224062, registered office at Holice 907, 779 00 Olomouc, Czech Republic, entered in the Commercial Register kept by the Regional Court in Ostrava (the “controller”). 2. What data we process

Depending on how you interact with us, we mainly process:

• Identification and contact details — first name, surname, phone, e-mail (enquiry form, car valuation form, contact by phone or e-mail).
• Vehicle data — VIN, make, model, year of manufacture, mileage, photos of the car (non-binding valuation / purchase form).
• Data required to conclude a purchase contract — billing and delivery details and identity document number to the extent required by law.
• Technical data — IP address, browser type and cookies (see Article 7).

3. Purposes and legal bases of processing

• Handling your enquiry and communication — performance of a contract or steps taken prior to entering into it (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Conclusion and performance of the purchase contract including the warranty and any return of the car within 7 days — Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
• Compliance with legal obligations — accounting and tax legislation, vehicle records (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
• Legitimate interest — protection of property, enforcement of claims and proportionate direct marketing to customers (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Consent — marketing messages to non-customers and analytics/marketing cookies (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR); consent may be withdrawn at any time.

4. Retention period

• Enquiries and communication: for the duration of the negotiations and no longer than 12 months after the last contact if no contract is concluded.
• Contract documentation: for the term of the contract and thereafter for the statutory periods (usually 10 years under the VAT Act).
• Data processed on the basis of consent: until consent is withdrawn.

5. Who we share data with

We share data only to the extent necessary: with financing and insurance providers (at your request), with Cebia (vehicle history checks), with TEAS s.r.o. as the supplier of our dealer system, with IT and hosting providers, with our accountants and with public authorities where required by law. We do not transfer data to third countries outside the EU/EEA.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access to your data, to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest (including direct marketing) and the right to withdraw consent. You can exercise these rights at prodej@zdekupauto.cz. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Data Protection Authority (www.uoou.cz).

7. Cookies
